Troy Darnell Vincent, Sr., has been with the National Football League (NFL) in New York, NY, as executive vice president of football operations for more than years. Troy Vincent also served as a player representative and executive committee member with the NFL Players Association from 1997 through 2008, and also was vice president and senior vice president of player engagement.
As a defensive back from 1992 to 2006, Troy Vincent played multiple seasons with the Miami Dolphins, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Buffalo Bills. His strongest season came in 2002 with the Eagles. The 2002 season yielded Vincent’s fourth Pro Bowl appearance, as well as his firs First Team All Pro selection. He started all 15 games he appeared in for the Eagles that year, recording 55 tackles and 12 assists, along with a pair of interceptions. His efficiency as a defensive player was best demonstrated by an 18 Approximate Value rating, a career high for the former Wisconsin Badger. The Eagles finished the season with a 12-4 record in 2002, tied for the best in the league. The team also had the best point differential in the NFL and was second in terms of points allowed.
